All New DynaDrop with audio transcript, New External Display modes, Apple Music Queue and more in 1.9
DynamicLake 1.9 - Feels More Like 2.0
DynamicLake 1.9 is one of the biggest updates ever released for DynamicLake.
Even though it’s still version 1.9, this update honestly feels closer to a full 2.0 release.
This version introduces major upgrades across the entire app, including a completely redesigned DynaDrop, an all-new DynaSwitcher, new external display modes, Apple Music Queue support inspired by Liqoria, and countless improvements both visually and behind the scenes.
DynaDrop
DynaDrop received a massive refresh with a redesigned interface inspired by AirDrop, along with brand-new sound effects that make sharing files feel smoother and more immersive.
A new DynaDrop History feature also lets you view all previously generated links directly from DynaClip.
Audio Transcription
DynaDrop now includes a brand-new Audio Transcription feature.
Simply drag an audio file onto the notch, or right-click any audio file in Finder and instantly transcribe it.
You can choose between two quality modes:
Standard
High Quality
DynaSwitcher
DynaSwitcher has been completely rebuilt from scratch with a refreshed design and many new features.
You can now instantly preview apps by pressing the up or down arrow keys, or simply by hovering your cursor over an app.
DynaClip
DynaClip now features a refreshed design that better matches modern macOS aesthetics, improved button organization, and a new shortcut for quick access to DynaDrop History.
DynaMusic
DynaMusic received multiple visual improvements along with a powerful new feature: Apple Music Queue support.
You can now view, reorder, and remove songs from your Apple Music queue directly inside DynamicLake - similar to the experience available in Liqoria.
The Slim Player (Music Live Activity) has also been improved.
The new live wave system is significantly more efficient on CPU usage while also featuring improved gradients and a waveform style that feels closer to the FFT animation used in the iPhone Dynamic Island.
DynaKeys
DynaKeys now works together with all Live Activities.
Instead of fully replacing the notch with the DynaKeys lake, the notch now expands naturally alongside Live Activities, creating a smoother and more seamless experience.
Notifications
You can now mention friends directly in Slack, WhatsApp, and Telegram group notifications.
External Display Improvements
External display support has been completely rewritten from scratch.
A new Minimal Mode for external displays keeps the virtual notch subtle and non-distracting while idle, making DynamicLake feel far more natural on larger screens.
Additional stability and behavior improvements were also added.
More Improvements Everywhere
DynamicLake 1.9 also includes many smaller improvements throughout the app:
New Liquid Glass materials
Performance improvements
Better integration with Liqoria
UI refinements across the app
Many under-the-hood optimizations
This may not officially be DynamicLake 2.0…
but it definitely feels like it.
Let’s go, DynamicLake.
